Consolata Lower School: A Beacon of Excellence

The Kenya National Government initiated major reforms in the Education Sector aimed at realizing the aspirations of the Constitution and the Kenya Vision 2030 Strategy. These reforms led to a shift towards a Competency Based Education System to underpin the national development priorities. These National Educational developments, among other emerging strategic interventions, informed the Consolata School growth and development Programmes. The School is aimed at providing the best Teaching and Learning facilities, very competent personnel as well as effective and efficient Management mechanisms for Re-Engineered Service Delivery.  

The School established and equipped the state-of-art new tuition bock for the Lower School next to the Nursery School section. The building is compliant to the government requirements for Competency based learning and it has led to the increment of our student enrolment by 25%. This growth got proportional recruitment of skilled Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff. It is worth mentioning that the quality of Education and other services offered at the School were maintained and in some sections, new standards were set. Furthermore the school emphasizes on moral and character formation of all students. We are certain that we stand as the best School as far as implementation of the New Competency Based Curriculum in Nairobi County and the Nation at large.

In order to guarantee continuity and flexibility in the implementation of the activities set out in various sections, the School has developed an annual review process. The review process is critical as a means of taking stock of milestones achieved and any challenges experienced in the course of our Teaching and Learning Process. The School is committed to instituting appropriate interventions and mobilization of the necessary resources to facilitate full realization of our goals as set out by our sponsors, The Consolata Fathers, Parents and the School Management.

Finally, I wish to acknowledge the illustrious Staff of the Lower School, Parents and other stakeholders who directly or indirectly continue to work towards the success of our Lower School section. I further appeal for continued support all stakeholders to ensure the school grows from strength as envisioned in our motto: Sapienta et Gratia.
